Congratulations to Special Education major Lindsay Gorman who was just awarded the George Mitchell Peace Scholarship to study abroad at University College Cork in Ireland this fall. While Lindsay is studying abroad, she is hoping to learn more about how students with special needs are treated and supported in other educational systems around the world, and to serve as an advocate for change.
